Online Voting

Vote online, October 14 to 23

Vote from your phone or computer in a few minutes, any time of day. Online voting opens Wednesday, October 14 at 10 a.m. and closes Friday, October 23 at 8 p.m.

How it works

  1. Find your Voter Information Letter. The City mailed one to every eligible voter in early October. It has your Voter Registration Number.
  2. Go to burlington.elections.vote, the City’s official voting site. The address is also printed on your letter.
  3. Enter your Voter Registration Number and confirm your identity with a code sent to your email or phone.
  4. Make your choices for each office on your ballot, then submit. You’ll see a confirmation that your vote was cast.

Didn't get your letter?

You need the letter to vote online. Email election@burlington.ca or call 905-335-7777 to ask for a replacement. You can also vote in person without it; see below.

Is it secure?

Yes. The City’s voting system is hosted on secure servers in Canada and confirms your identity in two steps. Read the City’s details at myvote.burlington.ca.
